June is action packed full of events in Kiama. We’ve collated a best things to do while you’re staying here on the South Coast…

Live Music at Kiama Shores

Liam Maihi, from Team Ricky on The Voice will be setting the good vibes at our Cafe & Restaurant on long weekend Sunday from 12pm to 4pm. Kick back with an Aperol Spritz or two and let the long weekend lunch settle in.

Sweat it out…

If you’re the active wear type that is active – try the Kiama Coastal Classic running festival on 6 June and the Kiama Fun Run on 13 June.

Music to your ears

If coastal vibes and local acts are more your thang, then the uber cool Surf Life Festival is for you on 11 & 12 June – food, wine, crafty beers, wellness events and tunes.

Make your long weekend all about music with the Crooked River Winter Wine Festival on 12 & 13 June, featuring Triple J faves Ziggy Alberts and Mallrat.

Culture Vulture

Ignite your senses with demonstrations, arts and cultural sensory experiences, indigenous displays and culinary tastings, live music and workshops at the at the Ignite Winter Festival on 19 June. Stick around for the fireworks over Kiama harbour!

Play time!

Kiama really has it all when you want to get your kids out in the great outdoors. Lush rainforests and sighting wildlife to zipping through trees at Illawarra Fly and chasing waterfalls, nature is at it’s best around the South Coast. The kids might be braver than than us and take on the water at any one of our amazing beaches and of course there’s the famous blowholes.
